Neues Angebot philosophischer E-Journals

George Leaman vom Philosophy Documentation Center hat mich auf deren neues Angebot Philosophyonline www.philosophyonline.org hingewiesen. Man kann sich dort ohne weiteres einen simplen Testlogin erstellen und hat dann 7 Tage Zeit das Angebot zu prüfen. Laut Testinfo soll das Volltextangebot auf 3 bestimmte Zeitschriften beschränkt sein, das war bei mir aber nicht der Fall: die Volltextsuche durchsuchte anscheinend alle im Volltext angebotenen Zeitschriften, und ich hatte auch vollen Zugriff auf jeden Artikel, der mich interessierte. Ich schrieb Leaman dazu:

I just tried your new site with the personal trial access -- I am impressed by the fastness and searchability of the presentation of content. The html view is good enough for me; the printout looks fine.

I tried to export some citations to my citation manager. I suggest that two formats should be added, RIS and BibTeX. (They are quite common.) I wondered why the URL of the available articles is not part of the exported data -- this would be an improvement.

I'm curious about pricing of the service -- do you have any plans about that? What factors will influence the cost?

Viele der Aufsätze werden nur als HTML geboten, nicht als pdf (wie man das sonst von JSTOR oder anderen kennt), aber die HTML-Präsentation ist, jedenfalls was ich gesehen habe, voll seitenkonkordant.

Das Angebot wird in Erfurt auf dem Bibliothekartag vorgestellt.
